The Shadow Minister for Disabled People, Vicky Foxcroft MP, is chairing a South West Regional Roadshow on Thursday 13th May from 3pm – 4.30pm. This will be an online event using Zoom Conferences.
This is one of ten regional roadshows that the Labour Party are hosting across the UK and is an opportunity for them to meet with Disabled People and Disabled People’s Organisations across the South West of England.
Vicky told WECIL:
‘As a party, we are determined to be led by disabled people, the experts by experience.’
‘As Shadow Minister for Disabled People, I am eager to speak to as many disabled people, charities, disabled people’s organisations, unions and other civil society organisations as possible.’
These roadshows will help develop a response to the National Strategy for Disabled People and a Disability Benefits Green Paper, and start Labour’s four-year engagement programme with Disabled People.
To attend the Roadshow please register using this link by Thursday 6th May to ensure that the organisers are able to meet all attendees access needs.
